No. Super-Sonics are much smaller than Jaguars, and the shape is different (especially arount the neck / cutaways).

edit: oh, nevermind i get it.... the body & pickguard is unique but the chrome control plate is reused from a jag

the jaguar played backwards is really uncomfortable

you appreciate the countoured side when you play it backwards

No. The Super-Sonic body is unique unto itself. The horns aren't the same size and neither is the body length. It was inspired by a picture of Hendrix playing a Jazzmaster upside down, but they didn't keep those dimensions. They also put reverse contours on it. The neck pocket is also extremely unique. Don't forget the strat tremolo.

No, but I considered building one. We had one forum member build one with a string through body.

It's where I got the template for the Super-sonic, though I have never been able to verify how close to stock it is.
