Hi. I'm new. Here's my Duo-Sonic

Post by DamienC »

Hi there.

So a couple weeks ago I was rummaging through my fileserver looking for old backups of stuff and I came across pics of my old Duo-Sonics. I had both a Squier and a MIM reissue years ago and sold them for some stupid reason. I missed those guitars, and it got me nostalgic. I went on eBay, sold a bunch of gear, then picked up another Affinity Duo-Sonic, a JB Jr., and some Fender tuners and threw them all together. I really can't figure out why I sold this guitar last time, it sounds and plays great, especially for an old Chinese Squier.

Here are some pics.

Been lurking here for a while. I like the forums. Kinda makes me want to sell my LP Jr. copy and buy a Mustang. :P

Welcome. I saw one of those guitars on CL for $270. I do like the Stang knobs, though bronco knobs would look great.

IDK, I think Bronco knobs look cheesy. Like something off an old 80s electric stove. :P

Welcome to Shortscale. :) I'll soon be the owner of a red Affinity Duo Sonic, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm imagining the 22.5" or whatever it is neck will be a cool change to the norm.
