They're meant to be HUGE - I was going to use one, but they're 9.5" radius. The Musikraft will be even bigger...

damn you benecol for posting that website. I've been looking at it for a large chunk of today looking at it and thinking of the possibilities for their thinline teles and whether the funds will stretch to one ...

Why it's funny you should ask: received these pics today - body's finished, they've just received the neck from Musikraft and are just about to start work on it...

That's looking nice. Looks class. Are you thinking white or mint guard?

Thought you might be interested in the comms that are going back and forth during this project (my apologies if not - I hate long-winded build threads). Got this mail from Mark yesterday:
Mark Jenny wrote:Hi Benecol……..we are about to get your neck started in production. I want to go over the finish and what you would like:

-First thing we need to know is how you want the back to look. We have a few different options – closet classic, broken in look, bare wood, or the overspray look. You can find examples of the closet classic, broken in and bare wood look here:

http://www.mjtagedfinishes.com/necks1.htm

You can see an example of the overspray look here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fender-Lic-Replacem ... 5ade7bfe86

Let me know what you’d like for your neck.

-Next we need to know how you would like your fret board to look. You can see examples of what we can do here:

http://www.mjtagedfinishes.com/necks1.htm

and here:

http://www.mjtagedfinishes.com/necks2.htm

and here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MESE:IT

Let me know how you would like your board.

-Lastly, we need to know how you would like your headstock to look. Normally we do nicks, dings, edge wear and checking. You can see some examples here:

http://www.mjtagedfinishes.com/necks2.htm

Let me know if you’d like closet classic, light, medium or heavy aging on your headstock. Also let me know if you’d like checking on your headstock.

Thanks man! Talk to you soon.

Never fear - will be closet classic throughout. Just a little yellowing on the neck, to match the body, and the neck on my Jazzmaster.

yes. i love fat necks but it was too big. WAY T00 BIG. I actually liked it a good amount but had a terrible time switching from it to my other guitars. It makes a thinline neck (which is fairly chunky) feel like a toothpick.

Well how exciting - my neck's finished, and this is due to be shipped over to me any day now. Only Parcelforce, my inaccurate drilling and lack of any soldering skills stand in my way now. Pics below:

Looks really nice, must say I am a little jealous of your tele build.
