damn, that looks so much better with a black guard.
is that what you're wanting the 3 saddle bridge for?

I think w/ the maple it's better with the black guard fo' sho. rosewood, I like the tort better.
and yeah, I want a three saddle, but I'm not 100% sure the vintage style bridges will fit a modern string through design. I'm pretty sure they will and the people who have issues with it just don't understand how stinking things in a hole works

One day I will get around to reassembling my bass and hopefully swap it with one of you wonderful people for a squier tele.
Edit- jamba love your gypsy, I didn't even know about Gordon Smith until I picked up my GS1, now I am a total fanboy, nice guitar you got there.
hey, thanks..
..your GS1 is cool, too..as your Fretking..nice..
I really love the slim taper neck, almost like a Strat..
At the moment I try to build a Mustang-a like..neck is from a 70ies Ibanez Strat

Cool gear. Our bassist would probably be really eager to swap his 50's CV Squier Tele for the reassembled Pink Musicmaster Bass. PM me if you'd be up for that, so we're not clogging up the gear topic.

partly. It's a 70's Ibanez body with a Squier strat neck. Jazzmaster neck pickup, teisco bridge pickup. And split shaft style tuners because I'm too incompetent for anything else.

thanks a lot. Luckily it still had the original finish, or else it would have looked a lot worse

Changed the Peavey around today.
Before
After
It was just a pickguard swap basically. The old one is intact in the unlikely event that this guitar will be collectible (they only made this particular model for one year).
