I wanted to ask some advice for changing tuners on my Epiphone Casino,
so I found these -
Gotoh
Gibson ones
Gotoh(?)
Schaller
Do they differ in quality and so? Or are they all made in the same chinese factory and just different brands?
And will these fit, I think the holes etc.. (thats what she said)
(Gibson maybe the most expensive ones, but they are just Schallers, at least by the looks?)

Silly question about tuners for Epi Casino

The only real difference in construction you'll find is in the gearing ratio (but they're probably all the same) and whether or not there's a plastic or metal bushing (you can see this if you peep through the casing at the opposite side from where the tuner stem goes in). People prefer metal bushings, and that's what you'll find on older tuners and expensive ones. That being said, recent production Klusons all have plastic bushings and work fine.
More importantly though, if you're changing the tuners for tuning reasons rather than aesthetics, chances are it's not the tuners that are at fault: (gently) file your nut to remove any burrs, and lube it (I favour a vaseline/graphite mix), and put some graphite on your bridge as well. Bet that'll sort it.
