Too bad he won't split the lot, I would make an offer on the Vista Musicmaster:

I hate it when people sell collections of guitars and say they won't separate them. The chances of them finding someone to throw down $2k on 5 guitars is most likely pretty low. Although this is better than the one I saw on the Atlanta craigslist that was a collection of a bunch of shitty beginner guitars that the seller wanted $1,300 for and wouldn't separate.

He is just trying to get more money by adding the collection label to it. $2000/5 = $400 per guitar. It's not a terrible deal, but he is wanting to to make one sell instead of 5 individual sales. He could reasonably get $500 for the Venus, Jagmaster and Super-sonic in good to excellent condition. The Musicmaster and the Bass are cool, but they tend to go for less than the other guitars.

No thanks. Every guitar in its worst colour option.

Want PINK BASS and BLUE JAGMASTER for starters.

+1. the Black Super-sonic is more rare, but I would rather have the Alpine white and Blue Sparkle. The Sunburst Venus is pretty hot, though I prefer the Seafoam green.

It sucks because he won't bend any of his selling terms, though I thought it was neat that he had all of them. He probably is short-changing himself by not putting the work into selling them individually.

I also had no idea there was a sunburst Venus, I don't care for them personally but it's what caught my eye. I do like blue/green Vista Musicmasters a lot for some reason, wouldn't mind picking one up.

I like the black supersonics the best personally. With the white being a close second. The jagmaster and venus though, sunburst is probably the worst color. I don't mind the black on the musicmaster bass but I would prefer the sonic blue/surf green one.

There was a sonic blue vista musicmaster bass on the ATL craigslist for $110 a few weeks ago, but I was waiting on my next paycheck so I couldn't afford it, and it was gone by the time I got paid.

If they were all their respective blue versions it might be worth it.

That too. I don't want a six string venus.

I would take the 6 with the 12string if they were both seafoam green.

I have the five Super-Sonics and a Venus XII in black (wish it was seafoam). I had a sonic blue Jagmaster for a while but we didn't connect. I do want the shell pink bass, though.
I want to get another white SS and do it up as a Johnny Ramone tribute with a black pickguard, min humbucker and strat pickup, and mismatched knobs.

HA. Forgot about that. It's not even the full vista series then. Part them out!

i've seen a thread about this same set before, which means he's never managed to sell them, and no wonder.

I could understand something like this if they were difficult to get hold of, like a set of International Colour Fenders, one for each model like a Maui Blue Strat, Monacco Red Tele etc...

There's no added value in them all being together here.
