Honestly i only line 6 for bedroom practice stuff. The line 6 bogner spider thing actually wasn't half bad though. All patches on that amp were at random volumes though, from whisper quiet to earsplitting.

My friend has a IV and likes it.
Me and Hurb have Spider II 75w models- Very portable, louder than any drummer, cheap secondhand, pedal friendly clean channel and usable onboard effects. Basically, if you are not too fussed by all the 'artist presets' of the IV model i'd recommend a secondhand II model and save yourself a load of cash.

I use mine live in the Punk band as well, no hassle at all.
