Got home from work last night around midnight (via Tescos, so I now see what wwrrss is getting excited about on Twitter this morning) and found this..
Back in work again now so haven't tried it out yet. Will do that tomorrow if I can, as today is my last day in for this week.
I'm hoping a Berhinger FV100 Volume/Expression pedal will work with it as they are dirt cheap and have a stereo out. Just need to find a stereo 1/4" jack cable now

Weirdly enough I was reading another forum yesterday where they were giving our O'l pal Aen a right slgging off for untidy work.
**I open all my pedals/gadgets as I'm a nosey sod and I'd say the workmanship here is perfectly fine.
And New Guitar Bits Day as the DIY build it and glue it yourself Les Paul kit arrived this morning, but I've no pics of that.
No word of a lie I tried one out through a fredric Harmonic perc, the seting on 'high' and the pots maxed and I was making Aphex Twin Ventolin noises including the high pitched wheeeeeeeeeeeee - scarily similar. Was TITS.

It's based on Tim Escobedo's Thing Modulator isn't it? With the LMC567 chip? It's a really simple circuit but you can get some weirdass synth sounds out of it. My 'atomic clock' pedal used the same circuit in a different way. Really does need the clean blend to stay musical though.
Dunno Tim, was too tired last night to squint at the chip to read the code on it.
Paul, it was the FSB forum, I found old posts when doing a search on HAX yesterday. One user was ripping Dwarfcraft apart and the others getting all would up in the fuss over messy wires and insulation tape Things have moved on since, theres a proper commercial PCB in that HAX of mine.

Def. a 567 in there. Or a 456. I forget. Anyway, its got eight legs and its numbers are sequential.
And yeah, FSB bitches got all up in my shit because I had long leads and and prototype board covered in tape. These days I dont even solder stuff together. Just twist the wires and spit in there for good luck.
well, fuck. i want to demo it, but the guitar that i also got from aenjamin is out of service atm until i can get the new bridge intonated, so i've just continued putting it off.
Makes a good tremelo, soon got told off though as the other half is a childminder and the mindees had just nodded off to sleep.
Will experiment more later when no one is sleeping.
Also got a fcv100 off eBay this morning so just a stereo cable to find now.

HAX with expression pedal is nuts, bit like having my old Mold Spore backup and running. I guess it depends on the "expression pedal" but some of the effects I can only get with the pedal itself and not whan the Exp pedal is plugged in.
Behringer FCV100 pedal on "output 2" with CV mode engaged. stereo patch lead to HAX. Safe as fuck.
