Thing is the person lives in Joburg, and I in pretoria, and to his house iots more then an hour driving (through hell like traffice ) otherwise I would already have had a look at it
I have all my stang bridges on backwards, makes it easier to intimate when strung up I don't have any buzz from it being this way. I first started doing it when a jagstang I bought came with the bridge on backwards.

Yeah, that Mustang definitely has some replacement parts on it. The L series serial number is "right" for a '64, although that one probably dates to '63. The dynamic vibrato should say "patent pend." instead of patented. The tuners should have white buttons - they switched to F tuners the following year.
My 8 DEC 65 B neck has Pat Pending on the headstock.
