that FF build looks tighter than a knats cuff. Nice work mike. what customisations did Benecol ask for on the saltshaker?

It has a single rat control, faster top speed and a symmetry control

Thanks Mike and Rob! I can now get my fat fender-into marshall even without a marshall.

The funny thing was I didn't even set that up on purpose, the record player is by the window in an otherwise dark room, and that album was in my player from weeks ago! The significance did not pass me by when framing the shot however!

You can either use a battery or on any standard boss style supply as long as it's not daisy chained with other regular pedals. It's positive ground but I wire the power jacks so you don't have to use a reverse polarity supply.

And Benecol's version is a Fulltone '69 Clone.

These days I have replaced the Bias knob (which on that and the Fulltone is just an extension of your guitar volume control) with a true Bias control to make the thing less temperature iffy in Wintertime.

Mike... this might be hella impossible but I was wondering...

Is there anyway to mimic the CMOS driven pre-amp stage of a Sunn Beta Lead/Bass as a distortion pedal?

http://sunn.ampage.org/site/svcmans/beta/

Probably a pie in the sky concept, but it would be a great fucking pedal if it existed.

A CMOS boost schematic apparently exists...

I would find funding for one if it did.

edit: Like, I'd make a down payment today if I could.

Well you could get this for a ridiculous amount.

http://www.monolith-loudspeakers.com/ma ... reamp.html

But that's the full beta lead minus the power amp, which is more than I'm after (you could buy a vintage beta lead for half that much mind you). I just want that beta lead's drive, with some tone shaping... maybe some extra saltiness added in (a gain boost or something).

I don't take money up front.
