Ebay find - possible Vista Jagmaster?

Back of the neck says 'crafted in Japan'. Seems a bit too good to be true for £200!

The second run of vista Jagmasters had a bullet truss nut AND skunk stripe, neither of which would have been on the original's recycled Jaguar necks.

Are those necks even as Jag-like as the first runs, anyone with experience? I just wonder because they're constructed differently, makes you wonder what else is different/if they were recycled Jag necks or purpose-built.

the necks are not as comfortable for some reason. before i bought mine, i'd played a blue one at guitar center (used), and remember thinking the neck was not comfortable at all, and it almost turned me off of them completely. i wish i could remember precisely what it felt like so i could accurately compare it to something, but i was somewhat of a guitar n00b (still am, i guess).

I have one of the bullet truss rod ones. It feels exactly the same as my fave MIJ Jaguar. I posted comparison shots for Hotrod before. it's profile is exacrly the same as the jaguar neck doind an A/B comparison. it just doesnt look as nice.

My Jag is just the same as this; white Vista with bullet truss rod. I've never been able to compare the neck to a 1st run/90's MIJ Jag, but I've always thought it felt and played brilliantly. I will never sell mine.

£200 is a brilliant price. Mine was £160 shipped from Germany about five years ago (CANNOT believe I've been playing that long).
