I HATE THIS THREAD. Every time I see "Mascis," I reach for my revolver. Kurdtznoobs grow up to be Mascisfags.

whether its mascis-inspired or not, its still gonna be a lot nicer than the current squier fixed bridge jizzmaster. I am going to buy one

Shouldn't matter in the slightest when the guitar is this affordable and this potentially brilliant.

I keep trying to tell myself that it's an excellent low priced Jazzy.
But then somebody says some nerdy mojofeathers Offset-style bullshit about low-magnetic field single coil vintage pickups.

Where? On offset guitars maybe?
I think most people are just happy about a cheap Jazzmaster in an interesting colour combination

What a lot of bollocks. People just wanted to know whether the pickups are high or low output. Noticeable difference between the two. We're hardly getting into Klon eque magic transistor talk.

Well, they could be if you changed the pickups...
Actually, my CP's stock pickups were pretty darn hot.
Seriously, if whatever they end up fitting this thing with doesn't cater to my needs I'll just... Oh I don't know... CHANGE THEM??

I had Lindy Fralin Texas Special JM pups in my CAR Jagmaster. 8.4k (neck) and 9.4(bridge). Cool but pretty high output for Jazzmaster guitar.
I don't know why people are worried about the pickup output. The chances that a guitar manufacturer is going to make the guitar exactly the way you want is pretty small. If you don't like them , change them out. or give it to me

I was listening to Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. way before I had even heard the Kurdtz, what does that make me?
This guitar looks like it will be very cool.
