I would say both are about as awesome as eachother. I like the dark scratchiness of Surfer Rosa/Come on Pilgrim, and it's longer. Doolittle is just an out and out perfectly executed and hung together album.

HA!!! Glad to know there are some fellow "old" dudes here instead of all of these "noobz"
We is all old, just some pretend not to be. Judging by your username I even have one extra year on you.
Oh yes, and Sonic before Nirvana of course. And Pixies before Doolittle!
I got my user name from my Marshall head, its a 1971, "small box" 50 watt head, but its close to my birthyear.

I was going to add the Gigantic EP to my flowchart, but realised what a quim that would have made me look.

<3 from me and Tim..

P.S. This was the first Pixies song i ever heard in John Peels Festive 50 (1989?), blew me away. The string bends, feedback, vocal harmonies, JAMC style riff, tremolo arm abuse... its just outstanding and was different to anything else.

I like how we can't talk about Jazzmasters without at least 5 pages of indie rock discussion

So any word on how much these will cost?

First one I heard. This version too. Bought the B Sides album first, for some reason.

The Squier Mascis is going to remind you less of an old-school Jazzmaster than the Blacktop does when you're actually playing it, given the bridge.
