I would go to Hot Rox personally - great service and well priced, and always good to support a family business. You're probably talking about a few quid difference overall anyway right?
In real terms preamp tubes will last you a VERY long time so you're not throwing your money away on something more expendable like a power tube (which last ages if biased correctly and not abused). I can recommend Tung Sol 12ax7s, they're amazing. I've heard mixed things about JJs but no personal experience. They're standard on new production Fenders and people often find them sterile, though that could be because the power tubes are underbiased.
