Visited my Dad in North Wales. Went out taking photos...

Went in some cool antiques shop which had some old guitars in. They were all cool but completely unplayable, and not worth the fix up price.
It had other cool stuff like old army helmets and old radios/tvs. That globe in the photo above. Loads of random stuff. Hundreds of mirrors/old furniture. It was cool to explore the piles of crap.

You can see loads more stars there than in Manchester:

Some great photos in here! Photography is my newest hobby. Seems like a lot of the shots posted are film? I'd love to try film photography...it just has so much character. But digital is far more convenient. A few of mine...

An old Jeep rusting away behind my friend's shop...actually, it's quite functional

Compressor (I think?) in the studio my band recorded in

The mixing board from said studio

And something local...though, amusingly, I am not a native

Love the close ups of the knobs. I shoot with film a bit but mostly digital. I sometimes do a pit of processing to make the colours a bit more film-like. The photo above of the globe thing, kind of like that.

Thanks! Love the one of the globe, what program did you use? I find that some post processing is helpful in almost every case when it comes to digital photography, opens a lot of doors for creativity. I used Lightroom for the ones of the Jeep and the compressor. There are a couple pre-sets to make photos look more like film, I'll have to play around with them.

A few more...

For some reason, I really enjoy taking photos of food

I'm also quite the motorsports fan, these days I do more photography than driving when I'm at the track

(Wish the car had been in better focus)

I use photoshop. Usually just mess around with the RBG levels using the 'curves' tool/window. I think I'm sometimes guilty of going a bit over the top with it though lol

Those motoring photos are good, especially the bottom one. Focus is great.

Wow, very nice! I hadn't thought bright sunlight could be so useful.

Took this at a local car meet a while back. The ambient lighting was just right so as to create some interesting colors and flares through the windshield. (Though I do wish the one green flare wasn't so close to the sticker.)

Image

Been doing some more band photos lately, too...quite like the colors in this one, though the blue stage lights were blowing everything out...

I went to some live classical music. It was really good.

You couldn't take any photos during the performance though... shame.

I quite like the colours in this recent shot too:
