Musicmaster Template

Post by crazydave911 »

I'm looking for a PDF template for the Musicmaster. I checked the "sticky" at the beginning of this forum and did not find the Musicmaster or the Duo Sonic, which I could have used I guess. I checked the link to the German page in the "sticky" and found the Duo Sonic but still no Musicmaster. I'm kinda surprised that isn't around here somewhere. Any thoughts? Did I just not look closely enough?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

I have posted a Mustang template, but not a Musicmaster template. It's basically a Mustang body with just the Neck pickup and the duo sonic tailpiece.

I actually own 1978 Musicmaster, so I might be able to work one up for you. I could simply trace the Mustang and make the route changes.

Are you wanting a pre or post Mustang Musicmaster?

I'm not really picky about the year. What you have right there will be just fine. I'm making my own neck with a custom 23" scale (it's what I'm used to in short scales) so the body template with the routs will be more than enough. I'll adjust the pickguard and so forth to compensate. Your generous help is much appreciated

Dave

P.S. Also, a pdf or even a decent pic of the single piece plastic pickguard would be nice as well (or just point me to a link, don't want to be a pest)

I should have been making vector copies of alla this crap. I think I have a Mustang body on file, but I would have to look. I may have to compare that 59 with the 73 MM.
