these things are hefty, don't expect strat weight when you pick one up! IRC, the fretboard radius is more like 10 or 11, versus the standard Fender radius.

Mine is not too heavy(7.6 lbs) and I don't mind the flatter fretboard.

That's not heavy at all, that's basically right between a strat/tele and a jaguar/jazzmaster.
