Reverse Jazzmaster

Post by serfx »

don't get me wrong i think this look pretty cool...
but for $4800 USD i demand a trem system.. and a neck pickup...

Image

its Fender Custom Shop..
i guess it's cool..
but i think that most of us here who do shit in the Guitar Projects sub forum would have made a more interesting guitar..

though i do now want to make a reverse jazzmaster...

i do like the bridge pickup..
\hotrod will dig the no rhythm circuit

Looks like something Japan would have made really early on.

I love the gretsch Filtertrons, I wish they would put them in less expensive models. I still lust after the White Chicken with them:

I loved reversed instruments, though I wouldn't pay out 4800 for this one.

I don't think the Tele headstock works well here at all.

But it slices through the air like that. The only thing I don't agree with are the bridge, pickguard, and controls. The knobs are fine, but I would have wanted a few upside down Jazzy bits. This looks like a 1950s car in Cuba with whatever parts could be had.

The fact that they don't even pretend to give you any upper fret access is a turnoff even though I'd never be caught dead playing that high.

Fender Custom Shop is so funny. They give you less, charge you much much more.

Genius!

Rather not even make one, it looks wank.

Oddly enough, I would love one if it wasn't reversed. As it is it looks like an ugly guitar someone would only play to look different

You're getting more less here, though. So much more less, which is well worth paying more for.
