Dont ask me mate, i'm clueless with this stuff.
*Edit* Thinking about it, even a British company like Gordon Smith (and Eggle) imports the timber in the first place. Even though the guitars are made in the UK there is still a percentage of importing going on. It would be interesting to know if any UK guitar company actually sources everything without any importing.
I'd always say the first album is the better of the studio ones, but the Roir live set lets you hear TV and Richard Lloyd unleashing some pretty fabulous noise.
Fiery.
first album is my favorite. recently downloaded the double exposure demos which feature Richard Hell on the bass, before the heartbreakers/voidoids.
It's not great but it's quite good. There are a few songs I really like on it. When I saw them a few years ago when they reformed their set comprised mostly of songs from this album, which was a bit of a shame.
yeah, the jumbo sized pic they got there looks like real anodized aluminum. Also, those look like adjustable poles on the pickup there. so definitely not getting your vintage tonz on with these. probably something more similar to the classic player jazzmaster pickups.
MSRP is $599 which is the same as the Squier CV Tele Custom so I imagine the street price will be about the same as that, $380.
