How are the necks on these things, are they satin, glossy, semi-gloss?

they're semi-gloss, almost exactly like any regular MIM strat. i guess a tad more glass, but not much. i already took some sandpaper to minez.

nice snag, jimmy.

Black with Mint pickguard is such a hot combo. Nice find. You can send me the old JM pup if you don't need it.

You could slap one of these in the bridge:

Liked mine when I had it. I put a Filtertron in the bridge and had a nice combo with that and the stock neck pickup.

i just have endses's neck off of the body that he traded to zee aen.

they're sort of scattered at the mo, but will be moving into a new place soon, and snap something then.

well i thought i had WRHB in my pickup box.. i do not..
would love to slap one in though.. mmm

so far just tossed a cp jazzy pickup in the neck
not sure if the other one will go in a project yet or not (since the cp one was...)
if not i'll let you cats know

the girlfriend asked me not to do to much to it yet, maybe get to know it first..

i'm thinking of putting a superdistortion in the bridge after next jam..
i like how it sounds out of my little fonovox amp, as well as my fm212.. with the stock bridge pup..
though i'm not sure how it will sound through the vox ac100

i'm still rocking a cast, so it took me a little longer then planned to re wire one pickup..
will demo when the cast is off..

i don't know why i never took any gut shots..
saddened by the lack of locking trem, but i think someone was sending me just that top plate?

or did that happen already?

i also need to take a new all encompasing photo of my guitars.. but if i had them all in one space the room mate may wonder where our apartment went as there would just be guitars.

i was thinking that as well..
i'm going to try a gfs wrhb clone in it first, and if i dislike it then i'll scope out a cream/black dp100 (super distortion)

I would keep the black JM cover. If I ever get my purple sparkle J Mascis, I might swap the White covers for Black covers like the chick in Sonic Youth did.

I agree. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Super Distortion is one of the more underrated bridge pickups today. Everybody seems to regard it with distrust and disdain, but it's a fucking great pickup.

not yet, or maybe i did and i already used it on that les paul i modified...

i broke fractured and chipped part of my wrist bone off at the beginning of september while skateboarding near my folks place on a spot i've skate easily 15,000 times before.
anyways the cast comes off friday, but i'm to keep it splinted up most of the time except when doing wrist exercises.. aka playing guitar
