New speaker grille cloth day.

Time to put some better-looking cloth on the front of the old JBL 15". Fairly open weave, black with little lumpy spots on it. Boring, eh? No, it's not acoustically transparent yada yada but it's only £3.50 a meter.

Lemme see. Valentines night - options
1. Spend the evening with my wife with a DVD and box of chocs
2. Go the jam at The Unicorn, Aldershot
3. Rebuild speaker cabinet

Cab originally bought in Plymouth about 1972 as an empty 1x12 cab nth-hand, no rear panel. It once had a combo in it. I built a 35W solid-state reverb combo into it, bits are still around somewhere. Second-hand ply rear panel. Altec 150W 15" guitar speaker. I need to think about covering the rear of the speaker cone to stop stuff falling into it. HH IC100S, Zoom GFX707, Hondo II LP copy (thanks Nick).
