and figure this was the place to ask...
its a bit of a budget build, so I'm looking at the allparts JGRO, but actually found it for about $60 cheaper from dguitarparts
anyway, I'm wondering if I have any other options...
I've looked on ebay and anything vintage is either too much $$ or too worn for my tastes... and anything "new" is still too much... I can't believe Jag HH specials necks are going for almost $400! (i got that entire guitar for like $650 only about 5 or 6 years ago!)
the only 24" scale necks I could find close to the price of the JGRO was, I think, warmoth, but then that was still back up in the range of getting it direct from allparts
anybody have any recomendations?

thanks for the tip... guess i already found the best deal... i'm pretty sure it was even $122 a couple months ago when i first made my parts list...
fyi, there is a classic vibe duo neck for $45 on ebay, but from what i've heard its 24" 21 fret, and for a mustang, to avoid any intonation issues, i need the 22 fret neck... the same guy said this might be the same neck as a jagstang... or a conversion neck for it or something, i'm not sure, either way i'm pretty sure i'll go with the jgro... i really want to do a matching headstock and i think with the maple neck on CV duo it wouldn't look quite right

i have one of those, they can be made to intonate on strat style 25.5" guitars
do a search for "conversion neck" here on the site, we have discussed it in great detail
they won't work on a vintage shortscale body or current jaguar/mustangs
but the tuners are worth that coin if you need some (i do not at this point in time)
