do love that squier decal though, been a big fan of squier as of late. quality affordable guitars, haven't tried one I don't dig yet.

wish the neck was glossy as fuck like the CV guitars though.

J Mascis likes the satin necks. His Fender Signature model also had the satin neck.

I was watching this demo of the Eric Clapton Signature amps. Check out the offsets behind the demo guy, specifically the one stage left behind him. I wish he would have demoed with it.

I really like satin necks, problem is they often don't get a staining because they're not associated with "vintageness" and you end up with the anemic maplez. The Mascis Jazzy looks legit though.

True, true. just have a preference for the gloss/tint. satin necks feel nice though, no doubt.
