The TC-90 does look pretty rad, could do without the F-hole but otherwise it's a pretty neat guitar.

Right, I have now found the right forum. Sorry posted this earlier in a rush as I was heading out for a curry.

They're much nicer in person that the previous photos have shown. My photos aren't a great deal better as they were taken on a iphone.

From what I've heard they come from the same factory as Squier but branded Fender... and therefore are Chinese made.

They come in the exact same awesome shipping cartons as Squiers so I have no reason not to believe that.

They're up with high-end Squiers / Classic Vibes.... really good !!

The Marauder is pretty nice to play, I can't fault it really. The neck is lovely !!! and slightly thinner than expected.

The pickups sounds alright too... the in between settings sounds great.

I also have pluck on the new jag / and jazz bass. Same again, really nice !!

If you like the look of them, I don't think you'll be disappointed for that price.

I like that the decal says Fender and nothing else. I still think it's ugly, maybe with some mods it'd be less so.

yeah, i cannot jive with the marauder body, it's just too awkward... but that tele pictured above could be a definite goer.

Yeah, same as the MIK Fenders. GT Toronado, Lite Ash models, Showmasters etc. Adds some mystique i suppose.

So, Squier start making some great guitars and offering models that people want, so Fender start taking those products and badging them as Fenders?

Fuck this noise.

This is going to sound like a weird anti-snob snobbery, but I'd like it more if it said Squier on the headstock.

On an offset dot com note, we're potentially looking at tough times for folks scraping up cash from pirated Fender headstock water slide sales.

Really though, if CVs prove they can play the part by outperform their "offshore" North American middle brothers in the clan (and customers agree), I think I could justify putting an F on the head.

I really like it . The pickguard is pretty .. As for the gloss...... Fuck the gloss. It's no big deal. Mustang Reissues gleam like that . Mine did . Some light sanding on back of the neck and some tongue oil and the thing is just pristine to play . I think some of you guys are being too pre-judgmental . My only concern would be that triplebucker . How good is it ? If sound or quality is anything like the Blacktops I'll pass. But as for now I'm loving it .
