Not my cup of tea, but your bass sound I fancied very much! How do you do it?

Schecter P-bass running through a 70's Acoustic head and an Ampeg 2x10 cab. Can't remember what mics we used, but I strum the D and G strings really hard to get that percussive sound during the intro and breakdowns.

Thanks to all who are listening! So that's me playing guitar and singing lead on the track. Since I my guitar rig was ss.org appropriate I'd like to share it:

Guitars - Fender mustang, 1966, little 59'er in bridge + Rickenbacker 360 (on loan, sad to have to give it back)
Amps - 50w JCM 800 with the gain turned quite high
Pedals - Bass Big Muff (essentially a Black Muff), Boss stereo phaser, Boss Harmonizer
