I really really like that Silvertone 1423.
That's volume tone volume tone and some kind of varitone type handle, right?

The top switch is the pickup selector but it has a "blend" control too like the Harmony H-49

What tuning is he playing in there? SOunds like some sort of Hawaiian tuning.

i saw him play that at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. wonderful sound. upstaged Wilco and all he needed was one guitar.
