i haven't seen any mention anywhere about the country of origin. I know its being reviewed this month in the guitar mags so I might take a look. I was hoping that they would have one in at PMT when I popped in yesterday but no joy.

I think the first batch seem to arrive in December but a lot of those are taken. Soundslive have two ordered which can be reserved if you're willing to drop £50 Deposit.
After the first batch the next set are in the new year.
They are Mexican, and I've heard that they'll be a production run and not limited. Not sure how true that is, but can't image the production run would last that long on them.
I don't know why anyone would buy one of these when with a little patience they could keep thier eyes peeled and get a vintage one for around the same price. Awful pricey for a Mexican guitar. I'll def be trying it when I get the chance tho so maybe my opinion will change...
So, what is the attraction to these things again? I'm not seeing it. The bound neck is pretty but that headstock ruins that. Getting a CP and throwing it at an amp for a while seems like it would get you pretty close.
