Is the neck the same chunky neck they have on the normal lefty Fender Teles? I tried out a few at Guitar Center on Saturday when I went in to buy new cables, and the necks were all really chunky.

Nice!! I've been looking at photos of these online and your photos do them so much more justice. The grain looks great!

I put a Boss set bridge pickup in my MIM Tele and it sounds amazing. I'm definitely a supporter of all things Bareknuckle. I'd maybe try a Brown Sugar set in the Squier if I ever get round to buying one.

I have reaffirmed that I am rubbish at soldering, but miraculously I managed not to stuff it up and it worked first time!
The Piledriver sounds immense. Really powerful and huge bass response, but still articulate and retains the inherent Tele character. Really pleased with it.
I know it's early days, but this might actually be one of my favourite guitars. Good work Squier.

For a while this didn't click, but last night realised another great thing about this guitar.
Squier have actually wired it correctly, using the correct pots, which is almost unheard of in lefty guitars.
Fenders usually come with normal log pots, so fairly useless as nothing happens until you get down to 2 or 3. Gibson are possibly worse as they don't even bother wiring then the other way and so you have to turn the knobs the other way - completely unnatural.
I usually swap the pots out for linear ones so that it works better.
Squier have seemingly used reverse log pots, which is what you should do to replicate righty functionality. Bloody brilliant.

See, I have this problem with my MIM Tele. The volume and tone pots are pretty useless and so I very rarely touch them. Any idea where/how I can buy these pots?

I've seen these (the control plates) http://www.axesrus.com/axeWiringTele.htm but not sure if they'd much difference to the stock one. I don't know if I can justify Â£32 on a brand new control plate. There is the Â£15 one which my friend has in his tele and even just going from each pickup, the switch is about 10x better than the stock MIM one.
