Looks like some of that Firebird X tech is trickling down?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

I don't know if this has been covered before, but I just got a Sweetwater catalog in yesterday and there's a new Epiphone LP Ultra-III for $750. It has a USB port, a chromatic tuner on the bridge pickup ring and some pickups I've never heard of before (Shadow NanoMag, ProBucker). And it comes with Guitar Rig 4 LE.

That's actually an incredibly good idea. But I have doubts about the execution. Maybe it's just the skeptic in me.

Epi is a little late to the party - there have been 1/4"-USB conversion cables for years.

The epiphone Ultra's are fucking killer. I am very surprised Gibson doesn't sell a version for $50,000. They have a body contour like ESP/LTD EC's etc...

I've always kind of wanted one of these for cover band gigs, so I could switch/blend acoustic sounds in thar. I'm not a fan of peizo's at all and I think having that nanomag pickup at the neck would sound pretty good.

The Ultra-II is sick. Not sure I dig all this USB bullshit on the Ultra III.
