is that a production guitar? where did you get the photo?

on a related note, my local place has some of the FSR tele deluxes in stock, they had a surf green one that was lovely.

That isn't a squier classic vibe tele neck, its one of the tele custom necks - the one with p90s. Looks nice, but theres something not quite right about it.

here's the easy way to do it. buy a guitarfetish thinline for 170 bucks and slap a squier neck on it you got laying around.

The headstock has a gold logo like the one below.Seller says the body is mahogany with a professional refin in Daphne Blue. He said the original color was natural.

squier didn't make a natural thinline. they made one in dark shit brown, shoreline gold and black. they were also 24.75" scale.

that neck is 25.5" scale. am confused.

well, that brown one is mahogany stain-ish color, so that's what he's probably talking about. There are two lines of Squier thinlines, the classic vibe and vintage modified, my bets on a classic vibe body with a squier custom neck, as mentioned above.

the dude is just calling this, natural:

That sounds right. Seller said:

"Headstock is the "gold squire label" with "telecaster custom" listed at the tip.Body is semi-hollow thinline with f-holes in solid mahogany.Originally in natural finish, original owner had it professionally refinished at a local shop in Daphne Blue."

Only thing is the bridge looks different.

Looks like Squier Standard Telecaster bridge

The Classic Vibe and Vintage Modified Teles have 3 saddle bridges

the vintage modified's do not have 3 saddle bridges. they have 6 saddles in a vintage style tray, which is what pointed me to the 24.75" judgement. i guess anything's possible. i have a vintage modified thinline bridge on my classic vibe custom:
