ZT Lunchbox. First impressions: it's tiny! very loud, very warm, I'm fairly impressed. I've yet to try it within a band situation yet but I'm looking forward to doing that on saturday.

£200 with gig bag. I could have gotten it a bit cheaper as it was on ebay, but I was too impatient so just sprung for the buy it now. Its like new and has been PAT tested too which is useful.

Have heard a lot of good things about it. Never used or even seen one, but I've always been sort of intrigued. Curious to see how it copes at a band practice.

Would fancy one, small size, plenty of volume, nice looks.

Yh it does this nicely, seriously this thing is loud! Takes pedals nicely too, just wish the overdrive was as nice as the crate powerblock but you can't have everything.

Update:

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but lately I've been rehearsing with a jazz group in Birmingham, so for the past few weeks I've been using the house amps which included a Fender Blues Jr, a Hartke bass amp and a Roland keyboard amp. So far the best useable sound had been from running my Harley Benton California pre-amp into the Hartke bass amp, it was really loud and had a load of headroom, however the sound wasn't great and the amp hissed an awful lot.

So today I used the ZT, it works nicely and has plenty of volume on tap. The bass response is a bit lighter at volume but its nothing awful and in fairness I was keeping up with a VERY loud brass section easily so this wasn't too much of a concern. Overall the tone was quite pleasing so I'm fairly chuffed with the purchase. Next thing is to try it within a rock band so that'll probably be on tuesday.
