cant decide if i like these as 200 dollar art pieces or don't like them as ugly fucking guitars. right now its a toss up.

The top two look ace to me. Like a non reverse style that actually looks good instead of one of the most fucking awful body shapes ever. Even the strat trem looks good on this and i hate strat trems on jag-esque guitars.

I like them all, even the Jacknife V to a degree, ANY Flying V with P90's fuckin rulez!
Posted the Badwater Eldorado up last year, sounds great on the demo's and i've nearly bought one a few times.

I quite like the idea of THESE 'distressed' guitar packs that AXL do. Not sure about quality but to buy all those things distressed seperately you would pay way more than that price.

Off all the cheapo offsets out there I think the top two AXLs piss all over them for a decent looking design, obviously I'd like to see the reliced finish first hand but I LOVE the shaps of the body and headstock and the colour combination. Is that PG super cream or gold anodised? Gold would be aces

There is nothing more retarded than "relicing" or "distressing" a guitar. When I hear people talking about "how cool it looks" I have the overwhelming sensation to rape them. No, I have never raped anyone, let alone a man, but they sure make me consider it.

Distressing a guitar is like going out, buying a new car, and then scratching it up with sand paper and putting dents into it with a hammer.

My hatred for these fuckers is only surpassed by my contempt for steam punk enthusiasts... you're fucking stupid: just stop.

I dunno with these guys they look so unlike any guitar wear known to man I'm inclined not to consider them as relicing - just a different finish. Steampunk is the only thing nerdier than being into star trek or anime. But it looks cool !

This. I don't like the removal of paint and all that, but these are fully painted and the hardware has been kicked around a bit. Doesn't bother me much, it's just the look of the guitar. Kinda like how I don't seek out pants that have holes in them already, but I actually prefer those "broken in feeling" pants that are partially faded. Saves me some time in doing it myself.

And either way, I don't really dig the guard much, but that's pretty easily swapped for a new one.

I actually kinda want to try to build one of these myself.
