its 100watts and has a 12" speaker. its good to go.

i can make my mustangI amp sound like anything. so im guessing sice the III has like twice as much rad shit on it, its better.

Do the mustang amps have a line out that kills the speaker?

I need a versatile amp that I can basicly use as a preamp for certain casino gigs where they make you go direct (no live stage sound...everything is into the board and out through in ear monitors.... even the drums)

You can use headphone output, the difference between headphone and line level signals isn't much.

I have debated about just skipping the combo totally and going for the 150 watt head. Use the line out for smaller gigs (saving space by not using a cab) and the casino gigs, then throwing a 2x12 under it for larger gigs.

We will see. I like how it looks/sounds. Just trying to decide between it and the PEavey Vypyr. May come down to whick one I see uses locally first.

Err, you're gonna blow up the head if you don't connect some kind of load to it...

I would've thought they'd include a dummy load for when using the line/headphone out?

It's solid-state so shouldn't be an issue.

there are also tube heads like my marshall that can remain in standby while sending a signal through the line out. massive tones for days. . .

Which Marshall amp do you have? My Marshall JTM-30 does the same thing.
