Correct. I have the GAX70L. The GIO part means "cheaper" but really it doesn't mean shit, it's still a great guitar. However, if you go to that link above, they lump the GAX line in with the AX line. All GAX models are listed.

yeah, all the hardware on the GAX70 is identical to the hardware they have on models up to/including their midrange guitars. pickups are obviously different but you can change those to whatever you want.

yeah, all the hardware on the GAX70 is identical to the hardware they have on models up to/including their midrange guitars. pickups are obviously different but you can change those to whatever you want.
If you turn out to not like them. I was surprised to find the stock pups on this thing are really, really good.

they are pretty good. the bridge pickup has crazy harmonics, neck pickup is clear not muddy. I just can't resist tweeking shit. they all come under the knife eventually.
