Indeed. Musicmasters have been the last of the good deals for some years now, as far as playability goes they hold their own with vintage Jags and Stangs as well.
Yeah, that musicmaster was a good deal. A bit pissed off I missed it. I'm currently looking at a black '77 bronco, £400. Don't know if the seller will post it though...

Bronco's usually go for more due to rarity and the Arthritic Monkeys connection.
The rosewood fretboard on them things is very thin, but they are nice necks. I have a 70's one on my home made Jag-Stang.

I think it's mad that Thomas' Bronco is £50 cheaper than a Japanese Jag. Personally if it were me and had some spare funds I'd be buying every just slightly obscure vintage instrument right now. I reckon there is money to be made in the near future when the economy reverses itself.
