I sort of feel like a jerk for selling my mustang after having it for less than a month, but I need the money to pick up this beauty.
My new '65 Jaguar. It has some wear here and there, but i really think its just the right amount. Sounds great, especially the clean tones, but the output on the bridge pickup is slightly lower no matter how high i raise it. multimeter reading is fine, so I'll crack her open and take a look sooner or later. The neck is really my favorite part of the guitar, as it's really worn down from the previous owners and it just plays itself.
Yeah, holy shit that thing is in amazing condition. You did right by snatching it up.
I can't speak for all Jags, but the bridge pup output was way weaker on my MIJ Jag as well, that's the main reason I put a single-size bucker in that position.

My 66's bridge pickup is pretty hefty (for a vintage Jag) but you're always going to get more volume out of the neck bcause the strings are doing more work up there.
Don't raise it too high or it'll affect string resonance, instead drop the neck to compensate.
