I actually don't think it looks all that bad with the pickguard on, even with the strat jack.
That route looks like somebody carved it out with a pocket knife though.

I've seen coat hanger abortions that looked cleaner that that bullshit pool. The route looks like it was carved by a madman's bare hands.

Looks like something my bunnies would do to a guitar body.

And it's going to sell for way more than it should.
Well, the neck may be worth something.

Is there a single coil rout under the bridge? Or did the guy cut it out for a strat floating trem?

Jesus mary and joseph. What in the flying fuck? If they wanted a strat, they could get a goddamn strat. There's only enough to pave the way from here to Nepal including potholes.
The good news is somebody could rout it clean and drop in a board and start over and it would be good as new.

What makes no sense to me is the pickguard is probably custom. Just guessing. If you are going to put the strat jack on the guitar, don't drill a hole for the jack in the pickguard. Just looks dumb.
If they simply modded the existing guard I guess they didn't have a choice. By the looks of the meteorite route, they didn't know what they were doing.

Yeah it is pretty cool looking. Like some kid got this thing because it was a cheap- used guitar and went to town on it making it cool. Put a kill switch in the empty spot.
