The 25.5 version looks pretty damn good for a modding platform. I'm never sold on 27" versions though. Has to be proper short scale bass length for me.

Douglas is without any doubt at all the goofiest fucking name for a guitar brand ever.

+1
Ask anybody who doesn't play "which sounds goofier, Douglas or Rickenbacker?" and they'll go "DOUGLAS? What the hell?"
every time.

Douglas sounds reliable. I imagine a Douglas would never hand his homework in late or have overdue library books but would perhaps struggle to get a girlfriend.

I didn't realise you could see that dog's genitalia so vividly when I saw that episode. Do not like.

I wonder if the 1.75" neck is real or a misprint. The idea of a JM with HBs and a proper wide neck is very appealing to me. Especially at $150.

I've been holding out for the release of a cheap MIC brand of resonator guitars called 'Harvey' or 'Everett'.

It reminds me of A Hard Day's Night when they ask George what his hairstyle is called and he replies "Arthur."

I've been looking at some Douglas guitars that have the Fernandes style headstock, and really, I think it looks good and I wish they had them on more guitars because it's better than the other one.
Maybe I'm just biased because I love my Fernandes Strat.

I can totally see that happening.
