I really want this guitar, like ALOT, but I will not be able to get the Black Friday deal here in Canada.

The Strat trem is easily one of the most important developments in the history of electric guitar.Rhysyrhys wrote:Strat trems deserve more love round here, they're brill.

I totally would but I know I'm fucking terrible about mailing things. Given how hectic my life is already and will be around that time, I am afraid I'd end up never sending the damn thing.Lucamo wrote:Does anyone wanna buy one for me on Black Friday?

Thank you for even considering dude. I am just in need a fun-time cheap ass guitar to fuck around with. And I am broke... so like 146 looks like a good price to me!Pens wrote:I totally would but I know I'm fucking terrible about mailing things. I'm thinking they just reused the prices and specs from the original run, and when the added CAR and sunburst, they had to put in whole new pricesNick wrote:I'm confused as to why the black and blue ones in the original GC link are $20 more than the red and sunburst
As the owner of an Electric blue Cyclone from the original run, I think I'll either go for a sunburst or black cyclone with these

What sucks is I want the Mascis as well but here's the thing:
I know I'll like the Cyclone better because I like small bodies and shorter scales and I re-remembered how much I love 24 3/4" scales.
But the Mascis looks so good and I'd been planning for its acquisition forever... this really puts a monkey wrench in my system.

Kicking and squealing Gucci little piggy.
Opposite end for me, I think. I love large-bodied, weighty guitars and the Mascis Jazzmaster just looks the business. I'd only want the Cyclone to mod and mod and mod, and I'm trying to get out of that a little bit.honeyiscool wrote:What sucks is I want the Mascis as well but here's the thing:

Okay, I'm getting one. I'm going to sell my Fender Cyclone. It's in excellent shape. I just don't like the neck very much. I like it, but I love the neck on my Super Sonic. I was going to try to find a new replacement neck similar in feel to my Super Sonic or have one made. Since I'm going that route, I'd rather just do it on a Squier version. The money I sell my Cyclone for will pay for the Squier and help with the cost of a new neck. Plus, Someone that really wants an original Fender Cyclone in excellent shape can get one. I don't care about original or excellent shape. I've just managed to not mess up my Cyclone YET, because I haven't played out with it.
