haha yeah....funny thing with that guitar was I LOVED the pickups for practicing at bedroom volumes, but then when I'd take it to practice or a gig the hotness threw my normal amp settings off completely (and wouldn't let me play on my lower watt Hilgen tube amp clean at all).

Then again, when my other main guitars at the time were a Dano with lipsticks and a Rickenbacker 330, the contrast was pretty obvious.
