built a pedalboard yesterday...

Post by rich »

a friend with a table saw and a steadier hand than myself threw this thing together yesterday. it's cool. it cost me about $50 overall, which a little more than i wanted to spend, but it's still cheaper than buying one, and it's exactly to my desired specs. check the hinged pegboard for maximum rearranging! cool latches and handle, too.

that looks pretty awesome, might be interested in building one like this myself.

i can recommend it thus far. i haven't played a show with it yet, though. before i do, i'm definitely getting more of those rubber bumpers to put under the pegboard for better stability. i'll probably use a single screw to hold it down in the front, too, so there's no chance of the pegboard moving when i don't want it to. but yeah, i'm overall really happy with it. also, pine seemed to make the most sense for weight reasons. it's still lighter than the old toolbox i used to carry around my pedals in the past.
