Is that be 3 tone Sunburst? Is 1961 too early for that and it's 2 tone sunburst?othomas2 wrote:Original 1961 Sunburst Jazzmaster

Sherwood Green? Love it.Nick wrote:Here's one that doesn't come up often...this is a Squier Telecaster standard from 1998 I think. It's just dark green, with no metallic.
this is the best picture I could find of it...probably better for reference cause it's when I still had the original neck and white guard on it.
I dont have a decent pic of mine so i grabbed that from google. But yeah, the MIK Stagemasters had some rare colours, i'll try and find some pics...James wrote:Nice one, that's a colour I don't have. I think the Stagemasters will be a good model to look into for some rarer Squier colours. Are those pictures yours? Or just an example of that colour?Fran wrote:My Stagemaster is apparently 'Charcoal Grey'

I was under the impression Sherwood green was a metallic finish. I actually thought this one was when I bought it, like the fat teles like the one rob roe bought and esquired around the same time, but it turned out to be a solid color. I think I've also seen standard squire strats in this color as wellFran wrote:Sherwood Green? Love it.
My Jags refin is Oxford Green which is quite close but has a slight sparkle.
I think it generally is but those Squiers were also called Sherwood Green. I remember them being around when I started playing guitarNick wrote:I was under the impression Sherwood green was a metallic finish. I'm definitely going to have to include 'red', but it's a tough one to find much info on because the big Fender nerds who care about that sort of thing don't like that sort of guitar much and certainly not from the 70s. Saying that even some of the 60s ones used on the more popular guitars are tough to find much info on if it's not considered to add value.AddamInsane wrote:1973 Fender Bronco in 'Red'
Apparently, that's what Fender refered it to. 'Red', as opposed to 'Fiesta Red' or 'Dakota Red'. It's kind of in between the 2.
Nice one. Do you have year info for the ones that are/were yours? I definitely want to include the comp stang and CAR jag.stewart wrote:here's a few from ma 'bucket.
the red jag is a '66 and the compstang is a '72.James wrote:Nice one. Do you have year info for the ones that are/were yours? I definitely want to include the comp stang and CAR jag.stewart wrote:here's a few from ma 'bucket.
