One of the few jizz-worthy high-end LPs I've seen.

Terrible because I actually could buy it.

Reminds me of the affordable LP that got away.

The MIC Burny PLC-45 used to be available literally all over the place here in Korea for under $400, then suddenly disappeared. The baby blue (PLC-45 PS) and Surf Green (PLC-45 PG) models were so good looking for a solid-built MIC, I'm kinda sad I didn't pick one up before they vanished from the scene.

Pastel colors on LPs are a bit funky on paper, but are a lovely thing up close, and I imagine Rob and a few of us could definitely benefit from one of these cheapies:

I think I prefer the MIC Burnys to the Gibson.

God dammit the LPs in this topic are some of the coolest looking I've ever seen. Doesn't mean Gibson aren't shite on the whole these days though.

I agree, justifying $2800 on a Custom Shop purchase is probably something I'd only be crazy enough to do if it was a Bass VI. Gonna bet that a good set of vintage wound humbuckers would make the Burny a very decent purchase.

Ha! As soon as i saw Robs thread title i thought he's found one of them burnys
One surfaced on UK ebay a few years ago and i was very close to going for it. Funny how a fun colour resembling a Fender can suddenly make a design you dont like appealing.
