Tungsten and Sunset Metallic are current colours so I have stock images but it's nice to see them in a more 'real' image.

That's a cool pic of Mercedes Blue because the only other one I've seen is a stock image that just looks black. It's the clapton strat still but I think a misnamed image and the pic I had is just black.

That midnight blue looks like a burst. Midnight Wine Burst is a separate colour to Midnight Wine so I wouldn't be surprised. Did it have a number with it?

I think that is Red Pearl Burst. Odd bass for a Fender.

Whilst looking at the 'Prophecy II' bass, in saphire transparent:

I found a site with some odd fender basses, and some are in odd colours...unfortunately not all the models are named, nevermind colour names.

That's 'Blackstone'. I think it's only from the HM series, also came in bluestone and redstone.

The HM Strat. These have some funky colours... again, need to look up names but might as well save some photos. Some do have names with them...

Where did you see it called 7UP Green? It's pretty similar to a couple of other green colours the Clapton strat has come in. It's obviously brighter in the first image but it looks like the whole picture is and not just the green.

In this interview with clapton: http://whereseric.com/eric-clapton-faq/ ... ratocaster
he says "The colours I asked for were Ferrari Red, 7-Up Green and charcoal gray. That was in 1988. Black introduced in 1991.

That looks like Pewter to me, which is a common colour for the Clapton Strat.

Image

My guess is he requested those colours and Fender gave him Candy Green (or similar), Pewter and one of their standard red colours (I'm not sure which it came in but I've definitely seen stock images of a Clapton strat in a typical Fender red).

IIRC it was 'Torino Red'.
