haha hopefully so it's up at £102 at the moment - keep bidding guys, they're £135 new plus you have to wait 11-13 weeks at present.

The search term thing is also pretty cool!

Hey Mike! I know you have gotten your fair share of YouTube criticism over the years, but I wanted to drop a couple of compliments I got on the pedals your built me in one of my guitar demos. (Saltbreaker-Booster combo, Fuzzface)

Here is my Demo: (Warning: Shoddy Playing inside)

Here are the cool compliments on your pedals:

man that fuzz is so amazing,,,,

Can't beat The White Stripes, I NEED those MadeByMike Fuzzface and Saltbreaker effects; sounds too cool!

I just wanted to pass those along to you. I still love both pedals and use the often.

I also used the MBM Fuzzface for a large portion of this demo.

Ordered PCBs from madbeanpedals.com and chips from Small Bear to make myself their DirtBagDeluxe (Deluxe Memory Man) and CurrentLover (Electric Mistress) projects. Massive builds with lots of expensive parts, but why not treat myself just this once eh?

Napes, the Electric Mistress project is based on the MN3007 which you can still get hold of, or a Cool Audio V3207 which is an MN3207 clone which is in current production.

The DMM uses MN3005 (hen's teeth) or can be adapted for V3205s which is what I'm using.

Are you adding a ground plane on the bottom layer? No urge to put all the resistors in a neat line? :D

Oh (and I'm not being picky) are you sure your resistors aren't too long? Are you using carbon comps?

I've not added a ground plane so far (don't know how to do that to be honest) and there's been no problem with the Dream Box. Can you give me pointers on how you do it for the future?

Putting resistors in a line wastes space.

I thought I'd used the same spacing on my Dream Box and they fit exactly snug (they're quoted as 4 holes veroboard which is resistor spacing as far as my experience of it), but a look at the Viewplot for that vs this one suggests these are actually bigger. Odd. I'll investigate. Not like it matters anyway, as the layout is pretty small.

Good spot - looks like I used R0207/3 on the Dream Box but used the 4 hole spacing on this one.

Here's the ground plane stuff. Draw a polygon on the bottom layer, adjust the clearances and name it the same as your ground net.

Cheers, will fix those resistor sizes and add ground planes for future revisions.
