Mustang pickup springs

Post by Noisy Cat »

Sorry, rookie question here...

Mustang pickup springs - do they go between the pickup and the cover, or between the cover and the back of the pickguard?

Also, which end does does the wider end of the spring go? Does it even matter?

Hope this makes sense, cheers.

between the cover the pickguard just like every other guitar..

as for what way to put the springs.. i'm not really sure if it makes a difference...
i know that i've put them both ways with no issues

I always do the wider spring facing the pickguard. It just seems right that way.
