Gig Bag for a Mustang bass ?

Post by Les »

First post so "hello" everyone :D

I have a 68 Mustang bass and I would like a gig bag for it but can't seem to find anything specific trawling the internet.

Does anyone know of one that's made for this scale of bass, or even a guitar one that would fit ?

Many thanks

Les

Welcome!

I used to have a Squier Musicmaster bass (same dimensions I believe) and I kept in in a bigger guitar bag. Worked fine.

It barely fits inside a Fender Strat bag. Bronco Basses fit better thanks to smaller tuners.

Here's one specifically made for short scale bass:

They also made a hard case that works for Mustang Bass:

I use a Fender Gigbag from a Fender Baritone Special. That fits the mustang bass perfect.
