65 reissue Mustang is so far rather lovely. First STANG and it's proving to be excellent.
Such a Classic! I am waiting for my First Mustang to be delivered in the mail or finished in my garage :)
That guitar looks exactly like the one I bought my ex wife many years ago and she sold for a song like two years back.

Was such a pretty guitar, too.

I suppose I'll join in.

Here's my only ss. Which also happens to be my first ever build. Allparts neck, scratch built alder body routed for Jag and JM pickups. Pickup selection wired for series in the "off-off" position and both pickups can be used with the rhythm circuit. AVRI hardware and pickups...mustang bridge. I'll throw together a build thread at some point.

Wow, can't say what it sounded like before bat that TOM seems to have added a lot more body and sustain (compared to my Jag at least).

Thanks guys... sounds very ropey. Bottle of wine didn't help I'm sure.

Cheers, I'm been trying the Cobain Jag a lot... decided against buying one new and thought I'd accommodate some of its features. i.e. tuno / knobs.

I had these parts sitting at home and thought I'd give them a whirl. The sustain is definitely improved and seems to take better for playing power chords.

I do use a CS3 though so don't be too fooled.

Are you still going to try and score a 60's shortscale neck for the black HH Jag?
