No experience with that particular amp but at that price, you probably can't go wrong.
Late 70's SS Traynor stuff is practically unkillable. If it's anything like the TS120, It'll be very present in the lower mids and very clean. Probably better suited to bass duties but who knows... I'd go give it a try for sure.

Is that a 1x15 or a diagonal 2x12?

man, go for it. I use a ts25, and I love it (except for the built in gain, but that's subjective).
