This will be my strat type guitar when it gets here so I figured I would post some pics from the previous owner before it gets torn apart for re-work

Does the red button control switching? If so, how?

BTW, cool guitar.

Looks like a rocker switch... though I've never seen one that's 5-position...

That's incredibly hot!
Three boners. One for each pickup.

Also curious about this.

I like Vox guitars, I have a '65 Tempest XII

If I had that phantom I'd put in some Jaguar pickups for the ultimate Vox/Fender mashup jangle machine

it has a cij jag pick up in the middle, and that is controlled by the rocker switch. I will be putting on a jag plate, and then putting strat pick ups in, so each can be turned on individually. i have to find one of those pots that has a tone and volume control with one knob, but it should be pretty straight forward.

out of curiosity, what is the difference between jag pick ups and strat pick ups?

Planning on using a 3-switch plate, or a 4-switch like on a VI so you can add a strangle?
A concentric pot shouldn't be hard to find at all.

Pretty much just the claw and shape of the cover, afaik.

i probably won't use a strangle switch on this, just the 3 switches for each pick up, but I'm still not sure if i should go for mustang covered pick ups or go for this look...
